Can anyone help a family soon to be self sufficient, but won't be before the holidays? We recently relocated back home from Canada. After staying with friends and in a shelter, I've finally found a good job on October 29, and we got our own apartment. Unfortunately, I won't get a check until the end of November, and that will just cover December's rent and gas for the next 15 days to get to and from work. The next check will cover all the money I spent that wasn't in the bank while buying food and gas from the previous month and a half. I won't even be able to buy food, let alone gifts for my daughter. I've called all the churches I can get ahold of to no avail. I've also tried the Salvation Army, and unfortunately, I have to go there in person and they're only open during the hours that I'm at work. I can't take off a day or even be late in the first 90 days or I'm fired. Can anyone help, PLease?

I work from home but, have been unable to work until we get into our own place. We recently moved back to Milwaukee from Seattle with our 2 year old and were staying with my grandmother. Over a dispute about me not spanking my child until it hurt, we got kicked out. I need help getting the money to get our own place. Once there, I'll be able to work again and support ourselves. If you'd be willing to help with anything, I could even pay it back. I used the last of our money on this hotel and is paid for for 3 more nights, and there aren't any spaces in the family shelters. Update: We got into a shelter, well, actually, a transitional house, and I got an outside job. According to my calculations, it'll be about 2 months before we'll be able to move into our own place. If you can help us get our own place ssoner, please help.
